Free motion sewing with Judi Miller

 Wow...It seems I only ever even LOOK at my blog about once a year!!  It's tough when there's soooo much going and this is not one of the things I think about a lot.  It's funny how we creators just love to make stuff but have such a hard time telling everyone else about this stuff.

I won't make any promises but I'll try to be a little more focused on telling you what I'm up to.

Alllll about free motion sewing....My new favourite thing!!

This is my first real attempt at free motion sewing and I'm hooked.  Lots to learn still!

 My goodness this year is just a speeding by!  I've been busy do pet portraits, teaching, doing sewing alterations and upholstery.  Never a dull moment and I love it!  

I spent a lovely day creating a felted vase and have since needle felted some flowers on it

this is one of my classes.  Aren't they amazing???  Bet you can't tell which one is mine!

these are my roommates/fur babies.  Oscar and Nellie.  I'm doing mini portraits to be made into fridge magnets

Needle Felting workshop at La Fab sur Mill

Yesterday, I taught a needle felted landscape workshop to 14 amazing students...everyone was awesome!!

Everyone did a spectacular job and the focus was intense!  Silence reigned....all except the sounds of needles being embedded into fibre and foam:)

Kingston SheepDog Trials!

 I will be at the Kingston Sheep Dog trials this weekend.  Rain or shine, it'll be a blast!

It runs tomorrow through Sunday 9-5.
